Raising Arrows has Five Outreach opportunities for our community to come and enjoy all for FREE. These five events are why we do what we do at Raising Arrows. Back to School Bash
For our Back to School bash, we partner with other donors in the Walker County Community to give away free food, backpacks, school supplies, clothes, haircuts and so much more! We believe having the students prepared for the school year to come is crucial in their learning environment! This takes place at the beginning of August.
Thanksgiving Outreach
For our Thanksgiving outreach, we partner with donors in the walker county community to put together a Thanksgiving meal for the families of the Jasper area. Our donors give donations such as give-aways and food to help support this outreach. we feed over 300 people every year. This takes place the week before Thanksgiving every year.
Christmas Outreach
For our Christmas outreach, we partner with donors in the walker county community to put together a Christmas celebration where we give away gifts to the children of the community and have giveaways for all ages. This takes place the week before christmas.
Spring Fling
For our Spring Fling, we have a carnival-type experience for the children of Jasper where they can come and win prizes while also getting free food and winning giveaways! This usually occurs around the students' spring break.
Love Walker County
We partner with many different nonprofit organizations, churches, businesses, etc that are passionate about impacting their community and the people in it to put on Love walker county. Here, you will find resources, free giveaways, and make great connections with people!
